Chad Turner is an orthopaedic hand surgeon, practicing in Spokane, Washington. He had enjoyed learning pottery years earlier in high school and college. After completing his orthopaedic training, he resumed learning pottery by joining the Spokane Potters' Guild. There he became friends with fellow potter, Paul Ruckhaber, who mentored him. Chad continues to evolve his passion for creating wheelthrown pottery, with an emphasis on carving. He creates a spectrum of pieces from tiny pots to larger vases and luminaries.
